A media practitioner and communications consultant with over 35 years experience spanning advertising, research, public relations / promotions, events… A media practitioner and communications consultant with over 35 years experience, Mr. Robinson's competence spans the areas of advertising, research, public relations / promotions, events management, advocacy campaigns, social marketing and corporate communications. Experienced in all areas of the media radio, television and press, both locally and internationally, as well as in the public and private sectors, Mr. Robinson is the former Managing Director the Jamaica Observer newspaper, General Manager of CVM-Television, and has held several positions at the former Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation, JBC. Currently, Chairman and Chief Operations Officer of Interlinc Communications which he established a decade ago, his vast experience includes administrative, technical and research assignments as well as senior management and leadership positions. Among his international experience are assignments with the Commonwealth Secretariat, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the Interpress News Agency (IPS) Recipient of a Commonwealth Scholarship from the British Government, Mr. Robinson holds a Masters Degree in Development Communications from Leicester University and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons.) in Political Sociology from the University of the West Indies. He received his secondary education at Calabar High School. He serves a number of civic and professional organizations including United Way of Jamaica, Crime Stop, the Media Association of Jamaica, and the International Association for Mass Communications Research.

Dynamic, talented and definitely on the cutting edge of information technology, Marcel is one of Jamaica's emerging entrepreneurs in Media and Technology. In 2000, at 21 Marcel became the youngest member of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) a 221-year old organization, where he chaired the Information and Communications Technology Committee. He is also a member of the Entrepreneurial Management and Junior Achievement Committees. As Interlinc's President & Chief Executive Officer, Marcel brings a distinctively youthful, energetic, yet very focused approach to the business. He has been with Interlinc since it's inception and has served as the company's Creative Director and VP, Marketing. Under his guidance as President, the company copped its first major award in April 2001. Recognized by the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and the Financial Gleaner, Interlinc was bestowed with the Entrepreneurial Award for 2000. Combined with his highly competitive spirit, Marcel continues to excel in an industry dominated by the icons of traditional media in Jamaica. Marcel sits on the Boards of Caribbeat Entertainment, a local entertainment industry company, serving as Caribbeat's Director for Online Services and ICT4D Jamaica Project, a Jamaican-based ICT for development think-tank. A graduate of the University of the West Indies he holds a B.A.(Hons) in Mass Communications. He is also a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEA) and graduate of Campion College. As Interlinc's President & Chief Executive Officer, Marcel brings a distinctively energetic, yet very focused approach to the business.
