Klix Information Services Incorporated was formed in 2000 to bring the functionality of corporate I.T. departments to small businesses from three employees to thirty employees. These small companies are too small to have I.T. staff, but face technology challenges. Usually these companies have hired ‘computer-plumbers' or ‘break-fix' guys. These folks are called when there is a problem, and a reaction is implemented. But proper management of technology starts with a study of each business, a plan to implement technology for the purpose of advancing the cause of the business, maintaining these systems, and managing the life-cycle of these systems.
