Davis Painting & Decorating was founded in 1975 by Louis Davis, Sr. after having apprenticed under noted San Francisco bay area painter Cyril Wilson for 6 years. Lou also served as property management painter for South Shore Beach & Tennis Club in Alameda for 3 years. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all facets of painting and stays up to date with current trends and techniques. In fact, though our business name is registered as Davis Painting & Decorating, we have become well known and referred as Lou Davis Painting & Decorating, separating us from other painting companies that may have the name 'Davis', but don't have Lou... Davis Painting & Decorating handles with ease all residential, commercial, interior or exterior jobs we undertake. We have become known for value-added service, and have an excellent reputation for "fussy" painting, integrity, and jobs that last. The term 'decorating' in our name refers to the skill with which colors are applied by our painters...
