PINE GROVE

The State Route 88 Pine Grove Improvements Project has been in the Project Approval and Environmental Documentation (PA/ED) process for the past two years. Phase I of the PA/ED process was completed in October of 2011 thanks to the hard work of all parties involved. Phase I consisted of performing a Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) alternatives screening process to determine what alternative(s) would be most beneficial to all stakeholders, based on the project's Purpose and Need... Through this extensive alternatives screening and refinement process, it was determined that the best and most viable solution was to improve the existing highway rather than build an entirely new alignment... The Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement Project (KBCCIP) is a $44 Million initiative to revitalize Kings Beach through storm water management programs, fresh, new streetscape designs and traffic calming measures.
