Leadership
Brandon is our Engineering Practice Director at Salient Networks, and for 9 years he has been our go-to resource anytime we needed to solve a complex technology problem. He brings a rare combination of both breadth and depth of technology knowledge, along with a nearly unflappable demeanor that helps us stay grounded. To add to his mystique, Brandon lives on a mountain and has informed us that he "needs to go knock ice off his WiFi antenna" more than once. Oh yah, and he can also sing and act really well.
James is our Principal Engineer at Salient Networks and has helped take our engineering mastery to new heights. The highest distinction in Cisco engineering is the CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). The vast majority of engineers will never attain this, as the coursework, written tests, and lab tests are brutally hard. Well, James doesn't have a CCIE certification...he has FOUR of them. James hosts the annual ‘Board Meeting' for Salient where he teaches our team how to surf, stand-up paddleboard, and windsurf, while he simultaneously cooks for everyone. To this day, we're not sure how he's accomplished any of these feats.
Matt is our Engineering and Operations Manager. He was a literal shoe-in for the Salient Networks culture when he joined the team 3 years ago. Matt is not only really good at managing complex voice networks, he is a humble leader that routinely puts others first, and he will never ever leave a client in need. Matt loves cycling, coffee, and prepping for imminent disasters such as the Apocalypse or a global shortage of coffee. When things get tough, the Salient Networks team knows we can count on Matt, and that we can live off of what he keeps in his back back and his utility belt.
Leadership
Murphy is the CEO of Salient Networks, and for 20 years he has worked to continually enhance Salient Networks' culture of improving lives, both within our team and with every client we work with. Murphy feels that Salient Networks exists to promote connections between people, which is what we all cherish in life above all else. When he is not meeting with clients and partners, the Salient team often wonders why Murphy has consistently wandered around the office barefoot for the last two decades. He considers Salient Networks a family unit and will always put our clients and our team's well-being first.
Toni is our Office Administrator, and she has kept the wheels turning at Salient Networks for 22 years. Toni has been referred to as "the heart of Salient Networks" and "our rock" many times over, because she is at the center of everything we do and is often the first person we call when we need help or someone to talk to. The Salient Networks sun rises with Toni and sets with Toni, so we're hoping for 22 more years.
