LOWELL W. SPRINGER has been the Owner / Principal Architect of Springer Group Architects, P.C., for the past 40+ years. During that time, he has handled all aspects of every type of facility construction project, land development project, and construction projects from small remodels to large, multimillion dollar, new high-tech construction projects for the aerospace industry. As the CEO of Springer Group Architects and the Vice President of Design for BACO, Lowell brings experience as the Design Team Leader with complex governmental projects for some of the leading corporations in the United States including Hughes Aircraft, Northrop, General Dynamics, Rockwell and others. In that role, Lowell was in charge of the design portion of the design / build effort for a number of $10 - $20 million projects for a wide variety of clients. In Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Arizona, California, and Washington, Lowell has led the design/build effort for over 100 projects with an average project cost of $2.5 million, a minimum of $600,000 and a maximum of $17,000.000. Over the last 40+years, Lowell has specialized in providing the Design / Build master planning and acted as the prime design professional, direction all design and land planning, engineering, and construction activities for land development projects, subdivisions and Planned Unit Developments throughout Montana. The scope of the projects ranges from simple minor subdivision, to complex multi-subdivision developments such as StoneRidge, the North 19th Avenue Entryway Corridor to Bozeman. During this time, Mr. Springer has been deeply involved in the public process of creating zoning ordinances, land development policy documentation, and development guidelines for cities and counties in Montana, including Bozeman and Gallatin County.
