VICTORIAN RANGES

The Yorkshire Range Company produces and restores antique Victorian Ranges made from cast iron and brass at their workshop in Halton East, Bolton Abbey, Yorkshire Dales... In Victorian times the Range was at the centre of family life, providing cooking facilities, hot water and heat. They had all but died out until 20 years ago when Gordon Pickles realized how beautiful and practical the Range could be. He started restoring these ranges, and his Yorkshire Range Company has now recreated and registered their own unique models of original 19th century Ranges... The Ranges are made from high quality cast iron with solid brass or cast iron fittings and features, offering a choice of tidy Bettys, oven trays, ashpan, sparkguards, surrounds and towel rails. The Ranges can be supplied with optional surrounds, or in a larger ornate 'farmhouse' style with over mantel and towel rail.
