Andrew Lappin

Andrew Lappin was appointed as Corporate Affairs Director in June 2019, with responsibility for leading a combined Corporate Communications, Government Relations and Regulation function. Andrew and his team are responsible for developing our external communications approach in ways that deliver our strategic objectives as a business, enhance our brand reputation and build trust and clarity in our engagement with public policy and regulatory audiences. As well as a previous role at ScottishPower as Public Affairs Director, Andrew has significant senior communications and public policy experience in UK Government and in international business. Andrew read English Language & Literature at St Edmund Hall, Oxford. He is married with three children.

Andrew first joined ScottishPower in 1992 and has held various retail positions. Until he was appointed CEO, Customer Business, Andrew was the CEO, UK Retail, previously the Smart Metering Programme Director and the UK Operations Director. Andrew holds a Global Energy MBA through Warwick University. The Customer Business is a key part of ScottishPowers strategy to help the households of Great Britain decarbonise. We do this by helping our customers understand and manage their energy needs. Through the use of smart meters we provide insight into the energy individual customers use and we then provide a variety of options for our customers to engage with us and explore how they could benefit from some of our innovative tariffs and technologies. Our aim is to make the energy transition easier for all of our customers. We understand that our customers have different lifestyles, we recognise this and provide a differential customer experience to meet the demands of our customers. Andrew first joined ScottishPower in 1992 and has held various retail positions. Charles Langan - CFO

Charles Langan was appointed Chief Financial Officer in July 2024, responsible for delivery and consolidation across ScottishPower of all financial information and reporting, administration, budgets, investment analysis, long-term planning and internal controls and accounting to enable economic analysis and review of business plans, investment strategy and efficiency targets. Charles joined ScottishPower in 2005 and has held several senior finance positions in the UK and Spain, where he was responsible for the Iberdrola Group's Fixed-Income Investor Relations activity. Charles is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has a degree in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Strathclyde. Charles has also completed the Global Leadership & Driving Leadership Transformation Programmes with IMD and IESE Business Schools. Prior to joining ScottishPower, Charles worked as an external auditor for EY.

Charlie Jordan

Charlie Jordan's career with ScottishPower began in 1997 where he joined the then Technology Division of the business. He joined Renewables in 2002 as a Project Engineer at Cruach Mhor onshore windfarm (UK) and went on to manage the construction of many onshore windfarms across the UK before joining the Offshore business in 2009. Charlie led the development and construction of Iberdrola's first Offshore Windfarm at West of Duddon Sands before taking on the role of Project Director for the group's flagship £2.5bn East Anglia ONE Offshore Windfarm, the largest infrastructure investment in the Iberdrola portfolio at the time, later becoming CEO of East Anglia ONE Ltd. In 2021, Charlie was appointed Offshore UK & Project Management Director, responsible for driving the group's offshore development pipeline including execution of large-scale construction projects. In addition to his role at ScottishPower, Charlie is a Director of the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) as well as a contributing member of various Offshore Wind NGO's.

As Chief Executive, Keith Anderson is a member of the Board of Directors and has responsibility for all ScottishPower businesses, the financial performance of the Company and the leadership of ScottishPower internally and externally. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive, Keith was CEO of ScottishPower Renewables and led Iberdrola's international offshore business. Prior to joining ScottishPower, Keith worked with some major financial institutions including The Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Life, as well as working as a management consultant with E&Y. Keith is an Honorary Fellow of the Energy Institute and a Visiting Professor of Strathclyde University.

Marion S. Venman

Marion S. Venman was appointed Secretary to the Board and General Counsel in October 2007. Prior to this, Marion was the Legal and Commercial Director for SP Energy Networks. Marion is responsible for the provision of all legal advice and support to the ScottishPower Board and ScottishPower's businesses in the UK. These responsibilities include the supervision and implementation of ScottishPower's corporate governance system and management of its corporate structure. Prior to joining ScottishPower, Marion held various legal roles in Clyde Blowers, Seagram Distillers plc, John Wood Group plc and completed her legal traineeship with Scottish Enterprise. She was a member of the Board of the Scottish Business Resilience Centre from 2014 to 2016, and was appointed to the Court of the University of Strathclyde in 2012. Marion holds a LLB (Hons) Degree in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde. She has completed the Global Leadership Programme in conjunction with IMD Business School. In 2021, Marion was conferred an honorary degree of Doctor of the University of Strathclyde for her outstanding contribution to the University Court. As a company making innovative steps every day we take our legal responsibilities seriously. That's why Marion was appointed Secretary to the Board and General Counsel in October 2007. Prior to this, she was the Legal and Commercial Director for Energy Networks.

Nicola Connelly

As CEO of SP Energy Networks - Nicola Connelly leads all transmission and distribution network activity across Central and Southern Scotland, North and Mid Wales, Cheshire, and Merseyside. She is responsible for ensuring 3.5 million homes and businesses benefit from a safe, secure, and resilient network, as well as driving the networks' fundamental role in delivering net zero. With demand for electricity steadily rising SP Energy Networks is investing over £12bn in the electricity network to modernise and expand the network to ensure the safety and security of customers' electricity supply, while enabling the network for Net Zero. By 2030, we'll facilitate the connection of up to 1.8 million electric vehicles, 1.1 million heat pumps and 10.4GW of additional generation and storage. Prior to joining SP Energy Networks as CEO, Nicola was Scottish Power Group's Control and Administration Director after 19 years working across a number of finance positions across the Scottishpower Group, including Finance Director for SP Energy Networks and Scottishpower Group Financial Controller. Nicola joins SP Energy Networks at a crucial time, as the Network Business delivers the RIIO-2 price controls and prepares plans to take us through RIIO-3. She will drive forward SP Energy Networks, continually improving the service customers and stakeholders receive, whilst ensuring the pipes and wires underfoot and overhead are capable of meeting critical ambitions for the future energy system.

Sarah McNulty - CHRO

Sarah McNulty was appointed Human Resources Director in January 2022 and is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, both strategic and operational, ensuring overall alignment with the group's vision and goals. Sarah will oversee all aspects of HR management, policies and practices to meet the needs of the organisation. Sarah joined ScottishPower in 2000 and has held a variety of roles within Human Resources. Since 2019, Sarah was the Director of Strategic HRM, accountable for setting and driving the strategic direction of HR function and execution of the business and HR strategies against overall HR strategic plan. Sarah has a Bachelor´s degree of Arts in Honours History (2:1) and Master of Arts Twentieth Century History, from University of Liverpool, and also successfully completed the Global Leadership Programme in conjunction with IMD. Sarah is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, both strategic and operational, ensuring overall alignment with the group's vision and goals. Sarah will oversee all aspects of HR management, policies and practices to meet the needs of the organisation.

Álvaro Martínez Palacio

Álvaro has been working in Iberdrola Group since 1999 when he joined the Group Engineering Company to work in large hydraulic projects. In 2005 he joined the Renewables Division of the group developing hydro and solar projects. Since 2008 he has working in offshore wind where he has been responsible for managing operations and projects across UK, Europe and US. During this period he has been involved in projects like West of Duddon Sands (UK), Wikinger (Germany), Saint Brieuc (France), Baltic Eagle (Germany), Vineyard 1 (US) and East Anglia Hub (UK). Álvaro was appointed as the Managing Director of Iberdrola's Global Offshore Wind Business in September 2021. He is responsible for the management of this business in line with the Iberdrola Group's strategy, seeking to maximize asset profitability while maintaining the highest environmental, safety and quality standards. The Offshore business includes a project portfolio of +30GW in Europe, the USA, Brazil and Asia (1.8 GW under construction) and 1.4 GW of assets under operation.
