Eleanor Sidgwick - Managing Director

An expert in her field, Eleanor has recruited for the legal industry since 2007. Her primary focus is on partner led hires, whether that be as an appointed search partner on behalf of a firm or instructed directly by a partner who is considering a career move. Eleanor's objective when appointed by either party is to understand the strategy of the search or move, listen and support, using her knowledge to offer measured advice. Eleanor's career highs include: Watching the success of her previous senior hires, following their career, and watching them build out their teams Being re-contacted after a candidate has been placed to assist them with a hire into their team Having the pleasure of working with an experienced and invested team Managing the business, which is less of a challenge than chasing around after her twin boys!

Hollie Preston

Hollie works with our clients supporting their recruitment needs, from newly qualified solicitors through to partner level, across all practice areas. Her focus is mainly on private practice but she also makes in-house placements. Since joining Errington Legal in 2016, Hollie has built strong relationships with clients and candidates and strives to add value to any hiring project. Hollie's career highs include: Candidates who she originally placed in legal support roles reconnecting to seek her support and advice in finding a qualified role Developing her career from Recruitment Consultant to Associate Director Collaborating within a genuinely supportive and fun team who all want the best for one another

Julia Harman

Julia is an experienced administrator who has worked in various sectors and joined Errington Legal in 2025. She works part-time Monday-Thursday, supporting the team in all their recruitment efforts and managing Errington Legal's website and social media presence. Sean Dodsworth

With significant experience of senior and strategic hires, Sean has recruited across the legal industry since 2016. His focus is on General Counsel and senior in-house hires, either retained to lead a specific, tailored search or instructed by an individual looking to identify their next move. Sean has also been part of a significant number of Partner hires across the UK. Sean's approach is individually tailored and pragmatic, offering guidance throughout an ever-evolving process to ensure that you achieve your long-term aims. When he isn't busy shaping careers and leadership teams, Sean is often running around after his young children or getting away from it all on his motorbike. Sue Peers

Sue comes from a Civil Service management, HR and policy background. She moved into HR within a regional law firm before joining Errington Legal in 2014. Sue works with firms and businesses looking to recruit legal professionals, from NQ to senior level across all practice areas, predominantly in East Anglia, as well as the Kent market. She builds strong relationships with clients and candidates, gaining a keen understanding of their requirements and adding value to the hiring process, and is known for her approachability and supportive nature. Outside of work, Sue has a young son who keeps her very busy. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, sampling local restaurants, travelling abroad and working out with Joe Wicks of a morning.
