The Academy of Music was founded by Shawn and Donna Coughlin in 1990 offering in home instruction on the piano and guitar throughout the city of Winnipeg. Since then, it has expanded to offer on line music instruction and now includes voice, drums strings, brass & woodwind lessons!... The Academy of Music offers music lessons in-home, studio, at school and on-line! Starting in 1990 with in-home lessons in Winnipeg on piano, guitar & voice, we've expanded the in-home lessons to include violin, drums and ukulele. We now offer studio lessons as well as on-line instruction via Zoom or FaceTime throughout Canada and the U.S.A. on the piano, guitar, voice, violin, drums, ukulele, flute, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, oboe, bassoon, euphonium, tuba, French horn, viola, cello, double bass and electric bass!...
