AGRO KONI

Founded in 1997, Agro Koni is a agricultural company which it main focus is on producing seedlings and distributing a wide range of products to the farmers. They are one of the first nurseries in Albania and example for its competitors. In 2014, in collaboration with Bio Best NV, they introduced in the Albanian market the B.t., the pollination bee. This way the farmer would not use hormones for pollination and therefore the product might have higher than normal residuals or it would have problems with it's shape, making it untradable. Also, in 2021 they started a campaign to introduce other types of beneficial insects... Agro Koni is a pioneer in Albania for sustainable production, by introducing B.t., sticky traps, pheromones and master classes, to reduce use of harmful pesticides, it has created a new culture on Albanian farmer.
