Arcata Electronics Inc (hereinafter called "ACT") warrants to the purchaser that its products will be free from defect in material and workmanship and will be of the designated kind and quality for specified warranty periods from the date of manufacture by ACT. This warranty is not applicable to any ballast which is not installed and operated in accordance with the current edition of the National Electric Code (NEC), all applicable state and local codes, and Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. (UL) standards for safety. This warranty also is not applicable to any electronic ballast not installed and operated in accordance with all applicable American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and ACT's specifications for installation (including, but not limited to, approved OUTDOOR installations) or to any ballast which has been subjected to abnormal operating conditions including, but not limited to, maximum case temperatures marked on the ballast label...
