Katherine serves as the firm's lead in-house designer and art director. Prior to joining Articulation, she had been working as a freelance designer for the last several years, both at her own firm and for several design and branding agencies on the west coast. A native of the Ukraine, Katherine brings a powerful and unique creative vision to every design project, with a natural ability to pinpoint the right concept, look, and brand image for clients across a wide range of industries and target markets.
Specializing in both print and web design since graduating from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Katherine also enjoys drawing, photography, and sculpture.
Marta Castillo recently joined the Articulation Agency team as a graphic designer. She comes from a background that ranges across both print and digital media. She specializes in layout design, advertising, branding, and marketing. Marta is bilingual in Spanish and English and is a versatile graphic designer who will always contributes a variety of creative ideas.
Marta graduated from Lindenwood University with a BFA in Graphic Design and a BA in Interactive Media Web Design. She also obtained an MBA in Marketing from the same school in 2015. Originally from Panama, Marta now resides in Los Angeles, where she enjoys spending time at the beach, exploring the city, and taking the time to relax and draw the world around her.
Matt Brunini has spent the last 15 years branding and marketing companies up and down the west coast. With a home base in Los Angeles, Matt has been running his own branding agency since 1998 and has worked on campaigns and initiatives for some of the largest companies in the world. Matt has developed and executed branding, marketing, and communications plans for firms like WaMu, SunAmerica, and RE/MAX. His strength is in his ability to help his clients establish the right message and develop the right marketing strategy to deliver that message. He has also been copywriting for his entire career and is able to synthesize technical concepts into succinct and actionable core messaging, sales tools, web and print materials, and press strategies. Matt has worked across a wide variety of industries, having led large and successful branding, marketing, and PR initiatives for firms in consumer products, financial services, entertainment, real estate, and a long line of B2B service providers.
Prior to embarking on an entrepreneurial path, Matt was a copywriter and product manager for a large consumer-focused financial services firm. Matt helped the company establish brand awareness and grow sales through multiple marketing mediums and distribution channels. He developed and chaired an advisory group that served as liaison between management and sales and helped create, shape, and market their flagship product into a multi-billion dollar success. Before joining the marketing and branding community in 1993, Matt graduated with honors in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Matt manages the overall strategic direction of Articulation and its initiatives, as well as heading up the LA office. He hails from the surfside community of Encinitas and enjoys traveling the world and expressing himself through his writing.
Reed Brenchley is a graphic designer that recently joined the Articulation Agency team. He comes from a background in corporate design & identity and specializes in creating logo, print and web designs. Reed enjoys diving into the creative process to find new and undiscovered ideas.
Hailing from Utah, Reed received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Utah State University Cain College of the Arts with an emphasis in graphic design and a minor in marketing. He now resides in Los Angeles, where he enjoys going for long rides on his road bike, hiking the local mountain trails, and spends time at the beach, appreciating the sun and shore with his family.
Yuri joins the The Articulation Agency team as Project Manager. Her background in marketing and communications has spanned a wide range of industries, both in the private and public sector working with international audiences. Before joining the The Articulation Agency team, Yuri worked in the financial education space and has experience in brand and direct response marketing campaign development and analysis.
She strives to build relationships of trust, both on the brand and interpersonal level through authentic storytelling and transparent messaging and communication.
A Southern California native, Yuri is a graduate of UCLA with a BA in Communication Studies, and obtained a master's in Strategic Communications from Columbia University.
