Benjamin Watters III

Ben has been working in the medical device industry since 2016 with device experience spanning prototype development for modular airway training manikins and novel endotracheal tubes, system engineering responsibilities on cardiac mapping and ablation systems, and most recently development of novel patient positioning solutions and class 1 medical device operations at BoneFoam. These roles vary from small businesses like 7-Sigma, to a university institution in the Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center, to the large fortune 100 company, Abbott Laboratories.

Bob Korljan

Bob is the Founder and President of Eaton-Cambridge Inc. a mid-size wealth management group and CPA firm. Bob has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting and serves as BoneFoam's outside controller. Outside the work environment, Bob is a pastor, author, and grandfather of 15 grandchildren.

Buzz Hannahan - CEO, President

After a Major League Baseball career spanning 9 years with the Philadelphia Phillies organization, Buzz spent the last 15+ years achieving high-level commercial status in the medical device industry at then Zimmer Inc. and most recently Becton Dickenson, where he managed over $70M and performed perennially in the top decile nationally. He is best known for his top team engagement, visionary mindset, intelligent strategy, and highly competitive spirit. Buzz is a dedicated husband and father and girl dad of three in their teenage years. As a member of the Board of Directors, Buzz is focused on driving and achieving BoneFoam's growth objectives. Along with his professional sports career, his Zimmer experience in orthopedics was formative in understanding the Orthopaedic market. At Becton Dickinson he led teams that successfully sold a medication management portfolio to both Health Systems and to Ambulatory Surgery Centers. The combination of these experiences is instrumental in guiding BoneFoam's growth.

Dr. Peter Cole - EVP

Dr. Peter Cole, a global thought leader specializing in Orthopaedic Trauma surgery, noticed how much time was spent positioning the patient using available materials such as rolled-up towels or blankets, wrapped IV bags, tape, or any other item caused him to remark. "It was costly, wasteful, time-consuming, inconsistent, and frankly unnerving," said Cole, "I always had to make sure the setup was satisfactory." Dr. Cole set out to innovate the way positioning was done. Peter has 8 years of experience in healthcare spanning MedTech, clinical development, and academic research, he has co-invented over 20 commercialized medical devices, and co-authored 8 publications on Orthopaedic and Global Health topics. A proud "Double Cane," Peter received his bachelor's degree in biology/chemistry and master's degree in health administration from the University of Miami. Peter currently also serves as Executive Director of Growth Strategy at Scalpel At The Cross, a nonprofit Christian medical foundation. Dr. Cole is Chief of Orthopaedic at Regions Hospital and Professor of Orthopaedic at University of Minnesota, as well as Founder at BoneFoam and Scalpel At The Cross. Peter is an internationally recognized surgeon innovator with over 25 years and 200 publications in Orthopaedic surgery and provides BoneFoam with pivotal medical direction. Outside the work environment, Peter and his family spend much of their time in Boston, Miami, and the Peruvian Amazon.

Mark Christopherson

Mark has over 30 years of experience in corporate and startup MedTech settings, including leadership/foundational positions at Medtronic, Inspire, NxThera, and Cryosa. Mark is a serial MedTech founder, executive, and investor with a proven track record at Inspire Medical, NxThera, and Cryosa where he served as President & CEO. Mark is currently Entrepreneur In Residence at Solas BioVentures, and was former employee #1 and founding executive at both Inspire Medical and Cryosa.
