Ann Thomas, MD, is a family medicine specialist focused on primary care and preventative medicine in all age groups.
Before joining MSPB, Dr. Thomas practiced with Summit Health in New Jersey for eight years and prior to that practiced with Hunterdon Family Practice and Obstetrics in Flemington, New Jersey. She is a member of the American Association of Family Practice, American Medical Association, and Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Dr. Thomas says, "I am dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate health care to my patients. I believe in building trusted professional relationships with my patients and their families to help ensure their health and best possible outcomes in their health journey."
Committed to contributing her expertise to help local and international communities, Dr. Thomas has volunteered with Global Health Organization in Honduras, the Special Olympics in New Jersey, Mission of Hope, Haiti, Zarephath Medical Mission in Africa, and Operation Smile in Mexico. She is a recipient of the Operation Smile Regan Fellowship. Dr. Thomas has also been awarded the "Top Kids Doctor" in 2019 and 2020.

Dr. Andres A. Albornoz, M.D. has joined MSPB as a Primary Care Physician with experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has actively been involved as a distinguished medical practitioner in Primary Care in the community including informative public presentations, detailed medical publications, and volunteer services in Venezuela.
Dr. Albornoz graduated from Jose Maria Vargas School of Medicine in Venezuela. Throughout his career he has worked in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, United States, and a fellowship in Israel. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Albornoz is a proud member of the American Association of Gastoenterology, American College of Physicians, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (FAASLD). Dr. Christopher Hawk joined the MSPB Cardiology team as an Interventional Cardiologist in August 2018. He was drawn to join the MSPB Cardiology group because of his strong interest in complex coronary artery and structural heart disease.
He was raised in Maryland where he participated in many community activities including Boy Scouts, earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Dr. Hawk went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Boston College, graduating Cum Laude with a major in philosophy. He volunteered his time on campus and in various social programs that supported positive change in under-served populations in the community.
Dr. Hawk moved to South Florida in 2007 to attend medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Hawk's passion for service grew during this time with philanthropic efforts in medicine, both in the U.S. and abroad. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at New York's Columbia - New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2014, Dr. Hawk returned to South Florida to complete his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He has presented on such topics as Venous Congestion and Aortic Stenosis.
Dr. Christy Baggett was raised in Boca Raton, and she completed her undergraduate career at the University of Florida where she was a member of the Student Honor Organization.
She earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also completed a pre-doctoral fellowship in Osteopathic Principles and Practice which included an emphasis on the musculoskeletal system and teaching medical students.
Dr. Baggett is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She completed residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where she was awarded recognition for Excellence in Scholarly Activity due to research and numerous presentations at national conferences. She was also Chair of the Family Medicine Residency's Wellness Committee. Her areas of interest include musculoskeletal medicine, women's health, and preventive medicine.
Her hobbies include exercise, cooking, reading, and learning to play the guitar. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Max and Mabel.
Dr. David A. Miller, M.D. is an accomplished physician with over 35 years of experience in the medical field. He attended Penn State University where he received a Bachelor of Science with dual majors in Pre-Med and Microbiology in 1977. In 1978, he graduated with a Master's degree in Microbiology, and in 1982, he completed his medical degree at the UMDNJ - New Jersey School of Medicine.
Dr. Miller understands the importance of taking care of his own health, and he strives to set an example for his patients by leading an active lifestyle. He believes that staying physically fit and maintaining a healthy diet is crucial for overall well-being and is committed to promoting these values to his patients. In his free time, Dr. Miller can often be found exploring the great outdoors, whether it be on the ski slopes or in the gym.

Dr. Eric Kramer obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Glassboro State College in New Jersey. He attended Temple Medical School and subsequently his residency in Neurology at the Pennsylvania Hospital. He completed his training with a sub-specialty Fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Neuro-Oncology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania in 1990.
Dr. Jennifer Reich is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a thought leader of hereditary cancer genetics. Dr. Reich has been practicing medicine for over 18 years in New York and as Florida native she is happy to be joining Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches in sunny Atlantis, FL.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida, Dr. Jennifer Reich went on to complete her medical degree at the school's College of Medicine in 2002, where she served as president of the University of Florida American Holistic Medicine Association student chapter. Her postdoctoral training was completed at Lenox Hill Hospital as an intern and resident specializing in Internal Medicine, where she was awarded Intern of the Year in 2003 and Resident of the Year in 2005.
In addition to her medical credentials and achievements, she was a distinguished member of the Consortium for Informatics on Erectile Function and a member of the American Medical Association. She was also a founding board member of Apple P.I.E.: NY Partners in Education, an elementary and middle school lecture series, and has participated in substance abuse prevention programs for students at the middle school level. Dr. Reich is a national speaker on hereditary cancer screening, and educates patients and physicians across America about cancer prevention. Dr. Joshua Gottsegen has been a member of the MSPB Cardiology team since 2008. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He completed an Internship in Internal Medicine, Residency in Internal Medicine, and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

He is the Associate Medical Director for the Cardiac Catheterization laboratory at JFK Medical Center. He is on staff at Bethesda East and Good Samaritan Medical Center. Harry Jean was born and raised in Haiti. He received his medical doctor license at the School of Medicine, State University of Haiti. Harry moved to south Florida in 2011 and attended Florida International University in pursuit of his APRN. In 2015, he completed his BSN/MSN APRN in the accelerated program and he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He has worked in the medical field for more than 10 years.

Lisa Cohen PA-C graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master's degree in Medical Science. She spent the first ten years of her career working in Wellington in a family practice. From there, she moved to Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches where she practices internal medicine with supervising physician Dr. Marty Jacob. She has a passion for the practice of medicine, treating complicated disease states, and implementing preventative care measures to not only help patients achieve quantity of life but quality of life also. When she is not working, she enjoys a very active lifestyle with her husband, son, daughter and two dogs.
Mrs. Aruna Diptee has over 15 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse (RN and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Mrs. Marites Velasquez is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who has been with MSPB since August 2020. She is a family Nurse Practitioner at MSPB Internal Medicine, focusing on assessment of patient needs, diagnosing illness and disease, prescribing medications, formulating treatment plans, and ordering and analyzing laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Mrs. Velasquez has been practicing as a board certified APRN since 2006. She graduated from San Juan de Dios College of Nursing, Philippines with her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing in 1987 and Barry university, Miami Florida in 2006 with her Master of Science in Nursing degree. She was the recipient first honor for both clinical and academic excellence in her BSN class of 1987. She is also a member of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and Lambda Chi Chapter.
Mrs. Velasquez worked as a Registered Nurse in the surgical area of St. Lukes Hospital in NYC, SUNY Stonybrook, Mather General hospital in Port Jefferson NY, Palms West Hospital and JFK Medical Center. As a board certified Nurse practitioner, she worked in Internal medicine office, retail health with Walgreens and CVS clinics as well as for Baptist Health urgent care. She was a surgical first assist in various hospitals and surgery-centers in Palm Beach county.

Ms. Allison Pagan is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with more than 15 years of direct patient care experience. She uses a creative and enthusiastic approach to treating patients using specific diagnostic guidelines in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various levels of Cardiac illness.
After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Brockport in 1996, she went back to school to begin her nursing career in 2001 where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Nursing and was admitted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. From thereon, Ms. Pagan's professional career has been focused primarily on care for patients in acute settings. She continued her education by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rochester in 2006. She has since dedicated her career to caring for Cardiac patients with CHF, Coronary Artery and Valve Disease.
After nearly a decade as a Cardiac nurse, Ms. Pagan set her sights on achieving her Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and achieved that personal goal in 2015 by graduating from South University. From 2015 to 2018, Ms. Pagan practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner for a large Internal Medicine group.
Ms. Pagan has been a member of the MSPB Cardiology team since 2018, where she cares for patients admitted at Bethesda East, Bethesda West, JFK Medical Center, JFK North, Palms West Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital and Wellington Regional.
