Edward Chatfield

Edward is a graduate with high honours from the Mass Communication program at Carleton University. He has worked full time in the past, and is currently working part time on contract. His specialization is web-based communication media; creating, programming and maintaining web sites for the CyberSpace Industries 2000 Inc. team as well as assistance with productions of promotional DVDs. In the realm of XML, Edward had assisted on various projects involving data conversion, XSLT, DTD and XML to HTML programming, as well as web site development. He also tested and evaluated various XML training exercises, and performed the teacher assistant role during training courses

W. Hugh Chatfield - President

Hugh is the president of CyberSpace Industries 2000 Inc. and holds an honours degree in Physics from the University of Manitoba; has over 40 years experience in Information Technology development; and has been working in the XML/SGML domain since 1993. He has recently received an honours certificate in a post graduate Documentary Production program at Algonquin College, and has completed the Final Cut Studio Pro Editing and Camera and Lighting courses at SIFT. A major DVD production was the Crane Softwrights' course, "Practical Transformation using XSLT and XPath", available from Crane Softwrights in DVD-ROM format for personal use or licensed for online real-time private delivery on an Intranet: Hugh's XML/SGML consulting experience has been in the government, telecommunications, military, and private information sectors. CyberSpace Industries 2000 Inc. is a founding member of a business eco-system to promote the use of the Universal Business Language (UBL) in North America. Hugh has successfully managed this project through to the end of Phase II of Carleton Universities "Lead to Win" project.
