Danby House is an established B&B in Markdale offering 4 well-appointed guest rooms, 3 which include spacious ensuites and one with a private bath. Danby House is a fully renovated century home with modern amenities, and still keeps the original character of the home. The stained glass windows are original to the house as is much of the flooring, the grand staircase, doors and wood trim. The original locks and skeleton keys were on all the doors. It didn't take long to discover that the keys opened up every lock in the house! Needless to say, that is no longer the case... At Danby House, we redefine the essence of a perfect vacation.
