DECANTUS

DeCantus is a group of professional singers performing a cappella music in an ensemble ranging in size from four to ten people. We engage and entertain our audiences by tying our selections together in a dynamic performance, uniting elements of music, scripted acting, and improvisation... During the Holiday season DeCantus transforms into a traditional Victorian caroling group. Gaily appareled Victorian characters will appear in groups of five to ten performing a repertoire of sacred and secular holiday music. We have a diverse mix of holiday standards and rare gems showing off our rich vocals... We are a professional a cappella singing ensemble performing in quintets. We offer holiday caroling services for large or small venues, singing a wide variety of sacred and secular holiday music in period Victorian costume or concert dress. In the fall we perform at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and other arts festivals throughout the Midwest.
