Gaffar provides individuals, families and small businesses with comprehensive financial strategies in the areas of protection, wealth accumulation, wealth distribution, retirement planning and estate planning strategies.
Gaffar Chowdhury grew up in Alexandria, VA and has been a DC area resident for over 30 years. He graduated from Virginia Tech with his undergraduate (GO HOKIES!) and received his graduate Executive Certification in Financial Planning from Georgetown University.
When Gaffar is out of the office, he enjoys CrossFit, traveling to new cities and being out on his boat. He currently serves on the board of the Women's Bar Association Foundation (WBAF), National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Virginia Tech Alumni Association of the National Capitol Area (VTAA-NCR).

Mr. Troy is a 3(21) co-fiduciary advisor on 65 retirement plan clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic United States. His clients include banks, medical practices, hospitals, construction firms, accounting firms, hedgefunds, REIT's, and a long list of diverse businesses.
Mr. Troy completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University in Maryland in 1989, where he majored in Finance.

Concurrent to his role as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Joseph is also Senior Vice President of the First Financial Group and is accountable for the firm's growth, product distribution, revenue, and risk management.
Previously, Joseph led the financial planning and wealth management division for Ameriprise Financial in Baltimore, Maryland and the Washington D.C. metro area. There he led 40 financial advisors and staff. He resides with his wife, Desiree, sons, Tripp, Dash and Jett, and dog, Bogart in Phoenix, MD. Lee currently serves as a Managing Director with FFG where he provides leadership development and coaching, financial analysis and model development, and financial management support to clients.
Lee Fortenberry brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services field to First Financial Group. Prior to joining FFG, Lee spent 28 years with Northwestern Mutual, where he began as a Financial Representative. He then began a new district network office where he was awarded the Growth Award in his first year as a Managing Director.
Following success at the district level, Lee was asked to take on the role of Managing Partner for the Central Pennsylvania Group in Harrisburg, PA and later Managing Partner in Jackson, MS. During his tenure, the Central Pennsylvania Group achieved its highest standing in Northwestern Mutual during the Network Office's 110 year history. While becoming the only Network Office in recorded history to achieve four consecutive "Triple Doubles", the Central Pennsylvania Group also achieved the National Management Award every year since 2001, won the NAIFA Manager's Membership Award eight times, and won the Northwestern Mutual Growth Award five times.
Prior to his career with First Financial Group, Lee served in the US Army and Army National Guard, attaining the rank of Captain.
In addition, he has served as an active member of numerous professional membership organizations including serving as the past President and past Board Member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and a member of the Advanced Association of Life Underwrities, Financial Planning Association (FPA), General Agents Management Association (GAMA), and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Lee is a graduate of Erskine College in Due West, S.C., where he received a B.S. degree in Chemistry. He also holds a Master of Science in Financial Services degree (MSFS) from the American College. He developed a strong practice, earning back-to-back firm sales awards; however, given his entrepreneurial background, Sean turned his attention to leadership and the strategic growth of the firm. Entering the management track at First Financial Group as a Sales Manager in 2010, Sean quickly discovered his innate ability to source and recruit individuals who would excel and go on to become the company's top producers. Along with facilitating the rapid growth of the company, he has aided in the expansion of First Financial Group's footprint from two core offices into eight locations across the mid-Atlantic. In 2019, Sean joined CEO Lloyd Polmateer as an equity stake holder in the company. Serving on FFG's leadership team as President, he oversees multiple facets of the business, including talent acquisition, training and development, and finance.

He is a member of NAIFA, GAMMA, and AALU. Sean has been featured in the NCAA's "After the Game" web series highlighting excellence after college. Sean is a four-year qualifier and winner of Guardian's Presidential Citation Award, and a three-year qualifier for Guardian's Leader's Club Award.
Outside of his professional life, Sean resides in Chevy Chase, MD with his wife Mallory, their baby girl Ellie Anne, and their bulldog mix, Boss, who lives up to his name in every way. Sean is passionate about college football (especially if the Georgia Bulldogs are playing), enjoys a friendly competitive game of golf, fishing, and, top of his list, is spending time with this family.
