Alvin T. DeTorres

Alvin T. DeTorres, M.D., joined The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates in 2020. Dr. DeTorres is seeing patients at our Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, and Central Orlando offices. Dr. DeTorres is fellowship-trained in Otology-Neurotology from the University of Utah School of Medicine. His practice focuses on treating patients with ear problems and he also welcomes patients with all general otolaryngology issues. His areas of expertise include medical and surgical care of hearing loss, chronic ear disease, auditory prostheses including cochlear implants, as well as care of tinnitus and dizziness. He works collaboratively with neurosurgery, neurology, audiology, and physical therapy to provide multidisciplinary care to patients with otologic and neurotologic problems. He has published research on hearing loss, cochlear implants, and acoustic neuromas and has presented his work at national meetings. Dr. DeTorres is a native of Central Florida. He is board-eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Alyssa Madanick

Alyssa Madanick, PA-C, joined The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates in 2022. She has clinical training in a multitude of disciplines and focuses her practice in emergency medicine and otolaryngology. She has advanced experience as an urgent care and emergency physician assistant working in hospital settings. Alyssa's main role at the practice is to provide direct patient care and assist our physicians in surgical procedures. She is also an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA) and holds BLS/PALS/ACLS/DOT/Botox certifications. When she's not caring for patients at the practice, Alyssa volunteers her time at Shephard's Hope, a free clinic dedicated to providing medical care to uninsured and underprivileged patients. Bibi Farida Hussain, PA-C, joined The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates in 2013. She has an extensive background in neurodegenerative disease and has worked with Alzheimer's patients in the past. Dr. Aftab H. Patni

Dr. Aftab H. Patni joined The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates in 2004 and focuses on otology, neurotology and skull base surgery. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Vestibular Rehabilitation Center at Florida Hospital in addition to his teaching positions as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences for the Florida State University College of Medicine and as an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology for the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
