H 2 S Technologies is a private, Alberta-based company engaged in the development of a hydrogen sulphide disposal process that substantially reduces sour gas flaring. This innovative technology is unique in its ability to extract hydrogen (H 2) and recover sulphur (S). The Company's primary objective is to manufacture and install H 2 S separation units at sour gas facilities, provide maintenance of the units, and capture and market the hydrogen and sulphur... H 2 S Technologies was incorporated November 12, 1999 to develop a stand-alone hydrogen sulphide disposal process in response to industry need. To date the Company has successfully produced and tested a working model H 2 S recovery unit and is in the process of developing a full-scale prototype that can convert hydrogen sulphide to elemental sulphur and hydrogen by combining amine scrubbing technologies and the dissociation of H 2 S using the plasma torch system.
