HAVIKERWAARD

On the river IJssel, in the countryside between Arnhem and Zutphen, you will find The Havikerwaard. Since 1995 we have been housed there on the site of the former Bingerden brick factory. The Havikerwaard is a modern, very well-equipped stable, with attention to detail. For example, our horses are not behind bars and they get exercise at least three times a day. Due to optimal ventilation and insulation, the temperature is pleasant both in summer and winter, the ideal living environment for horses... Perfect care, that daily grazing and good nutrition play an important role in this. For example, we always feed our own hay, which is sown and harvested with care. In addition, we make use of the aquatrainer. Under the expert guidance of our equine exercise therapist Jeanine, the horses are trained as optimally as possible with it... We also invest in a good dam line with mares with the right mindset. After all, the mare determines for 70% whether a horse is good or not.
