We are blacksmiths. We specialize in investment grade ironwork; hand forging and machine forging, repousse'; metal conservation and metal refinishing. To us experience means predictable results, predictable quality, predictable schedule and predictable budget. We have restored historic artifacts; replicated everything from bolt-heads to entire chandeliers, and built new work from original designs. We understand the construction process. Many artisans are out of their element when faced with construction administration. We will generate submittals and take the lead in mock up and sample reviews. We understand the chain-of-command but are very effective in direct communication with design professionals. We work as peers and collaborate to resolve ambiguities, make priorities and clarify preferences. We coordinate with other trades to make sure that when our work reaches the site, it "clicks" into place with all of the architectural relationships of line to joints as-designed... Metal..
