The Institute for the Advancement of Multicultural & Minority Medicine (IAMMM) was established as a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization to focus primarily on the elimination of health disparities and to fulfill this commitment with much needed programs and resources. IAMMM is based primarily on the premise that developing strategies, addressing issues, and conducting major fundraising require the collective and concentrated efforts of distinguished experts willing to make long-term commitments to the work of IAMMM. The group represents scholars, clinical and scientific researchers, elected officials, community activists, philanthropists, and others with the expertise and resources to make IAMMM a viable and respected entity in addressing health disparities... IAMMM is the leading constituency organization for research, education, and advocacy for the elimination of disparities in health and healthcare among underrepresented and underserved multi-cultural communities... IAMMM works..
