Io Communications was established in August of 1983 when its two principals Jeffrey Mills and Barbara Mills, graduates of UT's Radio-Televiosn-Film program, left their respective media jobs (Indie Film Co., NASA) to launch a video production comany. And what an auspicious date…Hurricane Alicia would hit two days later... As a specialized application of the documentary style, we have produced many fundraising videos to help other nonprofits raise money: Houston Audubon, Houston Area Parkinsons Society, Pro-Vision Academy, Barrio Dogs, and Reach Unlimited... Video Production for corporate clients, and documentaries. We are based in Houston, Texas
