Robert Jenkins founded Jenkins Court Receivers, LLC to deliver high quality cost-effective services while remaining committed to solving problems. Robert E. Jenkins graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin after majoring in broadcast journalism and competing in numerous mock trial competitions in preparation for law school. He attended the prestigious UCLA School of Law where he earned scholarship honors for his legal writing, served as a teaching assistant in legal writing, was selected as the President of the UCLA Moot Court Honors Program, and authored an article on the Exxon Valdez litigation. Robert Jenkins began his legal career in San Diego, California with Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek working on complex business and real estate litigation cases. Thereafter, he returned to Dallas and joined Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox where he practiced bank litigation and commercial debt collection. Following his experiences at big downtown law firms, Robert Jenkins opened his own firm to bring a fresh perspective to his legal practice by reducing overhead through implementing the latest technologies and rejecting business models that rewarded inefficiency. In 2010, Super Lawyers magazine named Robert Jenkins a "Rising Star," an honor reserved for no more than 2.5 percent of all the lawyers in Texas each year. During his legal career, Robert Jenkins appeared for hundreds of court hearings, handled mediations and arbitration, served as the lead attorney for many trials, appeared before the Texas Court of Appeals, and filed briefs with the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Robert Jenkins stopped offering attorney legal services in 2014 so he could focus on being a full-time Court Receiver. Robert Jenkins is currently one of only a select few in all of Texas that has a full-time post-judgment turnover receivership practice serving as a court-appointed Turnover Receiver where he is entrusted as an officer of the Court to locate and liquidate nonexempt assets to pay judgments. He has been appointed as a Turnover Receiver in 10,000+ cases by 1,000+courts throughout Texas in 200+ counties on judgments ranging from $1,000 to $10.1 million.
