KEFALONIA FISHERIES - Key Persons
An Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology graduate (B.Sc. Ichthyology, Epirus Technological Educational Institute, Greece), Aggeliki set up the original, brand new, first Quality Control System for Kefalonia Fisheries when she first joined the company in 2000, and the Environmental Management System in 2004. She is in charge of the implementation and updating of all Systems and Standards the company is certified for.
Dimitris is a Marine Biologist (B.Sc. Biology, University of Genova, Italy, M.Sc. Oceanography, University of Jussieu, Paris, M.Sc. Marine Aquaculture, University of Caen, Normandy). He has been working at Kefalonia Fisheries since 1985 and has been Production Manager since 1990.
Evi, a Biology graduate from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, joined Kefalonia Fisheries in 1986. Serving as Hatchery Manager ever since, she actively oversees all research and innovation activities as head of R&D.
Katerina is an Ichthyologist with a specialization in Bacteriology (B.Sc. Ichthyology, Technological Educational Institute of Mesolongi, Greece, Laboratory Technician specialization, N.C.M.R. Laboratories, Greece). She joined Kefalonia Fisheries in 1991 and has been responsible for the health and well-being of our fish since 1998.
Lara is the second generation of the Geroulanos family to lead the company. She serves on the boards of many industry associations both in Greece and in the EU and is a frequent speaker on issues of sustainable aquaculture development.
Thanasis is an Ichthyologist (M.Sc. Ichthyology Victoria University of New Zealand, B.Sc. Biology University of Athens, Greece). In 1982 he became the first production manager for sea bass and sea bream farming in Greece, when he joined forces with Kefalonia Fisheries' founder-Marinos Geroulanos. He served as Managing Director until 2013, when he retired and acquired the position of executive member of the Board of Directors.
An Information Technology and Business Administration graduate, Vangelis joined Kefalonia Fisheries in 1992. After completing 21 years as Kefalonia Fisheries' Finance Director, he acquired the position of General Manager in 2013.
