Donald N. Grimes - President

Mr. Grimes has over 45 years experience in the construction industry working in field and management positions. Having served in a craft apprenticeship program, he progressed through the craft ranks to first line supervision, and ultimately to the Presidency of a sizable contracting company servicing the entire West Coast. He has exposure to many industries, including refining/petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, glass manufacturing, mining, power generation, and pulp and paper. Acting as the established qualifying party for Contractor License Classifications "A" General Engineering, Boilers/Steam Fitting/Process Piping, and Heavy Construction, Mr. Grimes' experience on construction projects, long-term maintenance contracts, mechanical turnarounds and operational contracts provides knowledgeable insight into the evaluation of change orders, schedule delays and claims. He has been active in many national and local contractor and owner associations, Le. National Petroleum Refiners Association; Western States Producers Association; California Manufacturers Association; Western Council Training Trust; and Industrial Contractors Council Programs Committee, Associated Builders & Contractors. Mr. Grimes has the ability to audit a contracting company's activities, procedures, personnel, etc.; provide an in-depth analysis; and recommend a course of action necessary to create an atmosphere and vehicle for a successful turnaround or sale of the business. He has many years of experience in managing construction and maintenance contracting companies and has the insight and full understanding of the ingredients necessary to the successful operation of a business. He has extensive experience in business development, contract negotiation, recruitment and training of skilled personnel, continuous improvement processes, and the ability to foster a team-based, customer-centric, results-driven culture. He can identify strengths and weaknesses within the business, eliminating the weaknesses and enhancing the strengths. An extensive track record of success in negotiating contracts, calculating cost, planning /scheduling and achieving profitability targets, has earned Mr. Grimes an exemplary reputation in Project Management and Claims Analysis. Top management experience in the construction and industrial maintenance industries, has helped Mr. Grimes to become highly skilled at coordinating the efforts of employees/subcontractors, and working with clients to complete projects on time and within budget.

Doug Grimes

Doug Grimes has over thirty-five (35) years experience in the fuels and lubricants industries to include wholesale and retail marketing, storage, and transportation. This experience includes the marketing of both branded and non-branded fuel products. He has both customer and product knowledge that is specific to the industry. Mr. Grimes is an industry expert in the fields of service station imaging, market enhancement, implementation credit card programs, branding searches and assisting outlet operators in maintaining volume commitments. Mr. Grimes has held ownership in three (3) fuel and lubricant distributorships that serviced the West Texas and Southwestern New Mexico areas with both branded and non-branded products. Mr. Grimes has experience in fuel property brokering, having packaged nearly $500,000,000 in properties for resale.

Mark B. Berry

Mark Berry is adept at analyzing and assessing the impacts of events which occur on problem construction and fabrication type projects. He has analyzed the impacts of project changes on over 300 major construction projects. He is familiar with private, commercial, and public works. He has drafted and negotiated claims, change orders, counter claims and claim analyses on a variety of projects including prisons, pipelines, industrial, complexes, co-generation plants, condominiums, apartments, schools, hospitals and many other types of construction projects. He has extensive experience with government contracts and procurement regulations. He is adept at proving and pricing delay and loss of efficiency claims. Mr. Berry is a Licensed General Building and a Licensed Engineering Contractor (A & B Licenses: License #755368). His professional construction experience commenced over a decade ago with field work. He has gained construction law experience with commercial litigation and arbitration. He is knowledgeable with issues concerning a multitude of construction related issues. Mr. Berry is a Qualified Expert Witness in construction claims and claim costs, especially extended home office overhead and impact costs. A specialty of Mr. Berry's is organizing documents, graphics, witnesses and other evidence on complex construction litigation/arbitration matters. Mr. Berry is also qualified as an expert in the San Francisco Superior Court, Sacramento Superior Court, Kern County Superior Court and the Federal Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA). Mr. Berry is also a licensed Attorney, but does not function in this capacity with Delta CPM, Inc.
