We are organized as a Georgia non-profit corporation, founded in February 1999 by Tim Young and Greg Beeley. Our main office is in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Because we are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, contributions to LightSys are tax-deductible. We are governed by a six-member board of directors, only two of whom are LightSys staff members, ensuring we have an independent board of directors... LightSys is a member of Missio Nexus, a fellowship of Great Commission focused organizations serving together for the gospel. We have come to greatly appreciate the value of Missio Nexus's resources for the building up of missionaries in the body of Christ... LightSys™ is a fellowship of believers serving and praying together for spiritual fruitfulness and the fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission.
