ccording to A. Byne this historic building, constructed around a 14th century defence tower, endured many alterations between the 18th and 19th centuries, the last renovation in the 19th century being carried out by the master builder Bartomeu Ferrá Perelló. The last two major renovations were in 1910 and from 1994 till today in which all the internaal rooms and the buildings' exterior were altered to facilitate its use as offices.
