Lana has been a licensed Realtor since 1986 and is a Broker Associate with Showcase Realty, Inc. Prior to Showcase, She managed a top real estate agency in Waterbury for several years. Lana served on several committees of the Greater Waterbury Board of Realtors. For many years she instructed first time homebuyers classes for the Waterbury Neighborhood Housing Services of CT and CHFA, providing students the tools they needed to fulfill the dream of home ownership. Lana also counseled reverse mortgage clients through N.H.S. She holds the professional designations as an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) and a Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI)
Appointed by the Governor, Lana served as a Commissioner on the Connecticut Real Estate Commission for 21 years. She served on both the Waterbury Human Rights Commission for several years and as a Trustee for 22 years on the Silas Bronson Library Board. Lana was also a Citywide elected official being elected to the Board of Voter Admissions. She is Treasurer of the East End Community Club, and also has served as its Vice President and Membership Secretary. Lana is President of the Julia Ashe Memorial Scholarship Committee, presenting scholarships to graduating High School Seniors.
She was a member of the New Britain and Waterbury Republican Town Committees, served on the Ct. State Central Committee and held office as their Secretary and oversaw several nominating conventions.
Lana is a Justice of the Peace and has married many couples over the years and married many of her clients that she sold homes to. She is a multi year winner being recognized as a Five Star Agent in the Connecticut Magazine.
