Mitchell Studio is an architecture firm focused on the design of buildings expressed in traditional language and rooted in the vernacular of place. Founded by Sam Mitchell and located in New Haven, Connecticut, Mitchell Studio has completed custom homes and renovations from Maine to Florida... Rhode Island native Matthew Meehan studied illustration at the Savannah College of Art & Design before transferring to the NewSchool of Architecture in San Diego, where he earned his Bachelor's in Architecture. Prior to arriving at Mitchell Studio more than a decade ago, he worked at Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City, Burgin Lambert in Newport, Rhode Island, and Pappageorge Haymes in Chicago. At Mitchell Studio, Matthew specializes in schematic design imaging and does 3D modeling in addition to renderings and other graphics-related tasks.
