At Monarch, Ali is involved in the development and integration of data into the homeless planning processes, aiming to enhance community planning activities and effectively address homelessness. He leads the importation and extraction of extensive datasets, engineering dynamic data visualization dashboards and producing methodically formatted reports tailored for management and community partners crucial for homeless planning. Ali is an avid supporter of housing as a fundamental human right and endeavors to enrich the homeless planning framework through the application of data-driven methodologies to ensure the provision of housing for all individuals.

Ashni Mathew joined Monarch Housing Associates as a member of the Housing Development Team in August 2020 and assisted with project coordination, construction monitoring, in addition to local, state, and federal funding applications.
In August 2021, Ashni joined the Homelessness Planning Team, where she consults with Continuums of Care across New Jersey in their strategic homeless planning efforts. Ashni also supports people with lived experience of homelessness in partnering with communities to create equitable and trauma-informed homeless service systems.
Ashni has experience in nutrition education, food justice, and asset-based community development. She holds a BS in Public Health from Rutgers University and MPH from Johns Hopkins University.

joined the Housing Development Team at Monarch as an Associate in September 2022. Previously Dominic worked for large public accounting firms in New York and England.
Dominic believes the affordable housing crisis is a priority issue for our society to tackle. Homelessness is the most visible feature of this issue but individuals being forced to making unhealthy sacrifices (e.g. paying rent instead of for medical care or education) is a less visible but important component.
Dominic holds a BA in Economics from the University of Leeds. He is also qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales.

Jennifer joined Monarch Housing Associates as a member of the Housing Planning Team in August 2023 where she consults with the Ocean County Continuum of Care in their strategic homeless planning efforts. Her work entails strategic planning, funding implementation, research, and data analysis. Jennifer's prior work experiences inspired her to explore opportunities to get involved in advocating for more programs for the unhoused.

is an Associate with Monarch's Homeless Planning Team, mother of 3 beautiful children and a NJ native who has experienced homelessness. Raquel commits a lot of time to bettering her community on a CoC level as a member of her local, Morris County, NJ CoC Allocations Committee, Strategic Planning Committee & Advisory Board Committee. She is a firm believer in the power to fight for change and not stop until she succeeds. She is centered and intent on building compassion, disrupting status-quo systems, and helping to guide the transformation of the homeless system. Leveraging her own experiences, she advocates to amplify the voices and empower others to realize the life they envision for themselves.

He is a recent graduate from Rowan University where he earned a B.S. in Community and Environmental Planning, with a focus in Geographical Information Systems and Cartography. At Monarch, Ryan is responsible for assisting in the completion of data-oriented tasks and projects, such as monthly data dashboards, the statewide Point-in-Time count, and the Longitudinal System Analysis. Ryan is a strong advocate for housing is a human right and aims to enhance the homeless planning system by applying data-driven concepts to provide safe, stable, and affordable housing for all.

has been involved in the affordable housing industry for over 25 years working for nonprofit organizations, for-profit housing developers, and state government. Since joining Monarch in 2005, Sharon has helped clients develop multifamily rental housing in New Jersey for households with special needs, seniors, and families.
Sharon is experienced in creating affordable housing through multi-layered financing structures including federal low-income housing tax credits; mortgage financing through the New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency, FHA programs, and private lenders; HOME; CDBG; Federal Home Loan Bank Affordable Housing Program; HUD Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversions; municipal Affordable Housing Trust funds; and state and federal special needs programs.
Sharon received a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 1989 and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992.

At Monarch, Tiffany assists in the development and integration of a business intelligence cycle into the homeless planning process. Through the data analysis process, she aids in performance monitoring, evaluation and technical support of homeless housing and service providers. As a previous educator, she is a dedicated supporter of creating and expanding opportunities for individuals to thrive, succeed, and access basic human necessities.
