Dave Reiland was born October 23rd 1958 and is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine (Eiden); sons, Paul and Nicholas; brothers, Richard Reiland, Jr. and Robert Reiland; sister, Michelle (Don) Howard; nieces and nephews. Dave died on December 29, 2016.
Dave was a lifetime resident of Saint Paul who attended St. Marks and St. Columba Grade Schools. He graduated from Cretin High School in 1977 and later attended Metro State University for Accounting.
With four friends, Dave established Metro Heating and Cooling, LLC in June 2009. Since its inception, the company has seen resilient growth, becoming a leading HVAC company in the Twin Cities. Dave's business aphorism was "I'm here to make a living, not a killing." Always willing to assist someone in need, Metro Heating & Cooling prides itself in being a team of honest, trustworthy, upfront business professionals. Upon Dave's death, the company employed 34 people and is proud to serve the entire Twin Cities.
Although never able to embrace retirement, Dave loved the sun and being on or near water. He enjoyed downtown St. Paul and a good steak at Mancini's Char House.
Dave will be missed and his modesty and optimism will live on at Metro Heating & Cooling, LLC incessantly.
