Making Headway Center offers specialized programs for individuals with brain injuries. We create customized programs based on needs of our clients... Making Headway Center works to prevent brain injuries through education at public gatherings, local media, outreach in local schools and selected helmet fittings and giveaways. For those who have sustained a brain injury, we create customized programs designed to help participants live as independently as possible. This is done through daily life skills classes, counseling and other therapeutic activities. Just as every person is different, every recovery depends on varying personalities and circumstances. Making Headway Center has expanded therapy services to include counseling for those who have experienced trauma, mental health issues, problems with relationships and difficulty in transitions. This holistic approach remains the key to success for Making Headway Center and service to our community.
