Miatex Corp. is one of the largest textile jobbers in the world, specializing in closeout and promotional home decorative fabrics, primarily for the export market. It was founded in 1976 by Jose Ojalvo, who had just sold his interest in Phillip Wedeen Corp., where he was a principal since its inception in 1972. Miatex has been able to lead the industry in showcasing the latest in fabric trends and designs for over 40 years. Operating out of a 60,000 plus sqft. warehouse in Miami, we have diversified ourselves into carrying all types of upholstery fabrics, including but not limited to Chenille, Suede, Microfibers, Jacquards, Animal prints, Solid & Printed Cottons, all types of Vinyl, Polyurethanes, Outdoor Solids & Prints and office type fabrics (poly-propylene and olefins). Miatex also carries a great variety of Drapery and Curtain fabrics, including 118" Sheers, Linens, Blackout fabric, Linings, Interlinings, as well as a complete line of Trimmings, for both upholstery and drapery..
