MTL

MTL was formed by four people with solid knowledge about the exploitation, processing and marketing of timber in November 1985, with the aim of creating a business of timber preparation and treatment. The first factory was installed in Monte Redondo and soon stood out in its market sector for the quality of their products and the efficiency of services provided. With the growth of requests, MTL developed a network of agents located in the centers of greater demand for their products... In 1987, MTL began exporting its products to France and Spain, countries with a strong agricultural and winery activity. In terms of supply of telecommunications and electricity poles, MTL began to export to African countries like Morocco and Cabo Verde. In 1994, meeting of the wholesale market for wood raw material, MTL acquired a second manufacturing facility located in Castelo de Vide, taking advantage of the proximity with Spain.
