MTL - Madeiras Tratadas, Lda was born in 1985, by the association of four persons with know-how about the exploration, transformation and comercialization of wood, with the purpose of preparing and treating the wood for a duration enhancement... In 1987, M.T.L. began exporting its products to France and Spain, countries with a strong agricultural and winery activity. In terms of supply of telecommunications and electricity poles, M.T.L. began to export to African countries like Morocco and Cabo Verde... M.T.L. - Treated Timber Ltd was formed by four people with solid knowledge about the exploitation, processing and marketing of timber in November 1985, with the aim of creating a business of timber preparation and treatment.
