She joined PONTI in 2021. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences from the University of Granada. In the academic year 2022-2023 she was awarded the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme for paralegals, focused on the legal framework of European Union trade marks and Community designs and on the interactions between the EUIPO and IP paralegals in the trade mark and design fields.
Her practice involves monitoring the trademark registration process with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and foreign trademark offices.

Lawyer. She joined PONTI in 2017 as a result of the integration of the firm Morgades del Rio Renter, SLP.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property from Pompeu Fabra University. Moreover she has completed several training and specialization courses in Intellectual Property.
Her professional career in the field of Intellectual Property began in 1988. She is mainly involved in advising on trademark matters. Her experience includes proceedings before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) and the various foreign national offices. Among other issues, she deals with the filing of oppositions, responses to official communications, appeals and invalidity actions. She manages the trademark portfolios of numerous companies worldwide and advises on contractual issues, licenses, coexistence agreements, assignments, trademark infringements, domain names and on any Intellectual Property issue.

He deals with Intellectual Property issues and advises all types of customers, especially in relation to trademark issues such as conflicts with national, EU and international trademarks, or the drawing up of license agreements and expert opinions in relation to IP disputes. He has given several training sessions to different clients and entities of a broader scope, such as the employers' association CECOT.
He has attended annuals meetings of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA).

IP consultant in the field of patents, specialized in the engineering sector, Jesús joined PONTI & PARTNERS in 2019.
In 2004 he was granted a six-year research scholarship by the Superior Council of Scientific Investigations (CSIC) of the Spanish government for carrying out his doctorate on wireless chemical sensors. In 2010 he worked as a teacher in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
After having obtained his doctorate with excellent "cum laude", he worked for five years in the research and development department of different companies, where he came into contact with intellectual property, in particular with the automotive industry. Furthermore, he has been working for four years as a patent technician in several patent firms. His professional experience in the field of patents includes the drafting and prosecution of Spanish, European and international patent applications, as well as the drafting of reports on patentability, patent infringements and freedom to operate studies. His practice includes several technical fields, including mechanics, electronics, chemical sensors and computer implemented inventions.

Her practice includes advising on trademarks, patents, designs, trade secrets, copyright and unfair competition law, as well as their protection and defence before national courts, including the EU Trademark and Design Courts, and the Court of Justice of the EU. He also handles licensing and assignment of Industrial Property rights, contentious-administrative matters, infringement and validity matters, requests for border measures or disputes over domain names applied for in bad faith.
