Association of Letter Carriers Branch 283. Our current membership consists of 4,804 members. We have 4,078 active letter carrier members, 716 retired members and 10 lifetime members. We are the eighth largest local union in the NALC... Our union hall is located in Houston, Texas. We represent letter carriers that work for the United States Postal Service in Houston and other Texas offices of the USPS.
