Ever since its inception the Nutrition Division had been steadfast in providing for the nutritional needs of the country through unfaltering efforts. With the challenges of the triple burden of malnutrition the country is facing as of late, the Division recognizes its responsibility in providing accurate and updated nutritional information to the community at large. The launch of a website is a long awaited milestone of the Nutrition Division and is the need of the hour... Nutrition Division is the focal point to coordinate nutrition interventions across the country on behalf of the Ministry of Health. We also collaborate with other related ministries, Development Partners and Non-Governmental Organizations to conduct nutrition activities... The Nutrition Division was established in the year 1997 under the purview of the Ministry of Health recognizing nutrition as a priority area. It served as the central body for policy formulation and planning of major nutrition related programmes..
