Arturo Huapaya

Arturo is a leading IT professional in the field of information technology, graduating in Software Engineering from ISIL in 2014, with a solid grounding in systems analysis and design, as well as in architecture and administration services for data centers. He is internationally certified by NIIT and Microsoft, and has also conducted training in generative artificial intelligence, network security and administration of communication centers. He also participated in the 2009 Gartner conference (held in Peru), considered one of the most important technological events in the world. Since joining NPG in 2008, Arturo has been a key figure in the company's IT department, where he has focused all his knowledge and experience on the technological development of the firm. He currently holds the position of Head of Information Technology at NPG, where his work promotes the strategic use of technology to improve the security and efficiency of the legal services offered by the firm. Bruno Ricci

Bruno Ricci is a lawyer with solid training in Law, graduating with a law degree from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in 2023. Specializing in Arbitration, Conflict Resolution and Contract Law, Bruno has developed a remarkable capacity for analysis and strategy in the resolution of legal disputes. Since joining NPG in 2022, he has worked in the area of ​​conflict resolution on projects of great importance to the firm. In his role as Legal Assistant, Bruno is in charge of reviewing and analyzing cases for the drafting of summaries and the preparation of legal actions. His work includes the drafting of consulting reports in construction projects, as well as assistance in Dispute Boards, JRD and arbitration processes, contributing with precision and efficiency at each stage of the projects in which he participates.

Carlos Cruzalegui

Carlos Cruzalegui is a lawyer with a Law degree from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), graduating in 2021. With a specialization in Civil Procedural Law, Carlos has demonstrated a strong understanding of procedural dynamics and litigation techniques, qualities that have allowed him to perform effectively in the construction area and in specialized matters such as FIDIC contracts and Dispute Boards. Since joining NPG in 2024, Carlos provides support to the areas involved in Dispute Boards, ensuring the alignment of documentation and compliance with the requirements in each case. His role contributes to operational efficiency and the execution of complex legal strategies.

Daniel Sánchez

Daniel is a lawyer with a solid background in Civil Law, Public Procurement, Labor Law, Civil and Labor Procedural Law, Arbitration, Administrative Law, Corporate Law, and Notarial and Registry Law. He graduated from the University of San Martín de Porres in 2014. Daniel leads the practices of Corporate Law, Labor Law, Occupational Health and Safety, and Nominated and Unnamed Civil Contracts. Daniel has been a teaching assistant to Dr. Enrique Navarro in the "Master's Degree in Construction and Real Estate Company Management" at PUCP and in the "Labor, Occupational Health and Safety" course in the Specialization Program in Construction Law at the Universidad del Pacífico. He has also been a teacher in the "Specialization Program in Construction Law" at the Universidad Continental. Daniel leads the Corporate Law product. Dr. Jaime Gray - CEO

Jaime Gray is a leader and major player in construction law in Peru. He is an expert in Construction Law, Dispute Boards and Arbitration. Jaime has been recognized by the WWL publication as a Global Thought Leader in the category of construction law in Peru. He is an active member of the International Construction Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF), the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Society of Construction Law (SCL UK). In addition, he has been president of Region 4 (Latin America) of the DRBF and co-chair of the IBA International Construction Contracts Committee. His contribution as an academic has been significant, training professionals in postgraduate programs such as the Diploma in Construction Law at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and Universidad del Pacífico, as well as at the Universidad de los Andes and the Universidad de Chile in Construction Law programs. He was also vice-president of the Dispute Boards Working Group of the International Arbitration Center of Madrid, and the Club Español e Iberoamericano de Arbitraje. Dr. Jaime Gray, founding partner of NPG, has taken on a new role as general manager and managing partner of the firm. From this position he will seek to integrate all NPG's operations, as well as to strengthen the relationship with the main clients and partners. Jaime Gray joined the International Bar Association (IBA), developing the firm's business activities internationally. In 2016, he became an accredited FIDIC trainer and between 2017 and 2018, he chaired the Construction and Engineering Committee at the IBA.

Elisa Figueroa

Elisa is a representative figure of the NPG team, having consolidated her experience and expertise in the field of Construction Law and Project Management and Administration. She graduated in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2008. She obtained a Master's Degree in Construction Management from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2021, and has diplomas in Engineering and Construction Contract Management from ESAN, Construction Management from the same institution and Public-Private Partnerships, also from ESAN University. She is an expert in contractual management in FIDIC contracts. Her advice on dispute prevention and her ability to represent clients before Dispute Board Adjudication and Dispute Board Avoidance Adjudication make her an invaluable resource for our clients. Fiorella Reyes

Fiorella is an excellent leader with a solid grounding in Construction Law, State contracting, national and international arbitration and Dispute Boards. She graduated in Law from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2011, focusing on specialized areas that demand a high level of expertise and strategic skills. Fiorella has complemented her knowledge with several postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Construction Management from ESAN, a Diploma in Arbitration from the Universidad Pacifico and is currently in the process of obtaining a Master's degree in Civil and Commercial Law from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Since joining NPG in 2013, Fiorella has excelled in both international and national arbitrations, offering specialized consulting in Construction Law, focusing on international standardized contracts used in the construction industry. Guillermo Alarcón

Guillermo is an outstanding lawyer with a solid academic background and extensive experience in the field of construction law, alternative dispute prevention and resolution, public procurement and arbitration. He graduated in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2012 and has since devoted his career to developing his leadership in these specialized areas. He began his career at NPG in 2011 and quickly became a key member of the firm, assuming the lead for our NEC Contracts product with mastery and strategic vision. His deep knowledge of the sector has resulted in his being recognized both in the academic and professional fields as one of the main players in the country. Guillermo is a postgraduate lecturer in "Project Management, Construction and Collaborative Contracts" at ESAN, as well as in "Legal Aspects During Construction" at the UPC. Guillermo is a prolific author in the legal field, having contributed articles such as "The Project definition role in the election of a public project delivery model in Australia and South America" ​​in the International Construction Law Journal (2020) and co-authored works such as "Applying FIDIC Contracts in Peru - Chapter 11" in FIDIC Contracts in the Americas - A Practical Guide to Application (2023) and "Peru Chapter in The International Compendium of Construction Contracts" (2021). Gustavo Paredes

Gustavo has been named by WWL as a Thought Leader in dispute management and arbitration in Construction Law in Peru. He has nearly three decades of experience in dispute management, and obtained a Master's Degree in Business Law from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2003. As a founding member of NPG, Gustavo has successfully led the construction disputes team. His experience is focused especially on contracting with the State and defense in complex processes related to engineering and construction. He accordingly stands out as a key pillar within the firm. Gustavo is an active member of various recognized organizations, the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation, the Peruvian Society of Construction Law and the Latin American Association of Construction Law. His participation as an arbitrator and Dispute Board member in international institutions underlines his recognition and authority in his field of expertise. Throughout his career, Gustavo's professional excellence has been acknowledged. He has been recognized by Chambers Latin America between 2017 and 2024, distinguishing himself for his ability in dispute resolution and arbitration in the Peruvian context. Mariano Linares

He graduated in Law from the Universidad de Lima in 2019. He has a diploma in State Contracting from the Universidad Católica San Pablo and was trained in Oral Litigation at the Universidad de Salamanca. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Administrative Law and Market Regulation at the Universidad de Piura. In 2022, Mariano joined NPG as a member of the engineering team, providing advice on the execution of construction contracts, including the drafting of submissions, temporary measures and other Dispute Board briefs. He is also in charge of preparing and handling arbitration claims, as well as the writing of reports and opinions associated with public procurement and administrative law in general.
