Kateřina Švábová graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague in 1999 and holds a degree Mgr. She started to work as a junior lawyer in Ladislav Pavlů Law Office and in 2002 successfully passed the Czech Bar Association Exam. After it she worked as an in-house lawyer in an international construction company as a law specialist for construction and sale of residential and commercial buildings.
She is mainly specialized in providing legal services in the area of civil law, commercial law, construction law and real estate law. She has extensive experience in housing law, mainly with the transfer of apartments and commercial premises. She has experience with representation at courts and administrative proceedings.
She provides legal services in Czech and English languages. She has passed international exams in English, worked as an interpreter and translator and participated in work experience in the USA.
Ladislav Pavlů graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague and holds a degree Mgr. He started his professional career in justice where as a judicial candidate practiced especially in the area of civil and commercial law. While working with the Commercial Register Ladislav Pavlů participated in an implementation of a new commercial code in the area of registration of business companies in years 1991 - 1992. At this time he acquired significant practical experience in the area of corporate law. During years 1992 - 1995 he worked as an in-house lawyer in a reputable company Česká Kooperativa, a.s., which was engaged in foreign as well as domestic wholesale with food and agricultural products and belonged to KOOSPOL group. Here he gained experience in commercial litigation and supplier-customer contracts. Furthmore he gained experience in corporate law especially founding of business companies, organising great companies general meetings, share issuance and other corporate matters.
Since 1995 Ladislav Pavlů has been providing legal services as an independent attorney registered with the Czech Bar Association. He is the owner and only partner of the Law Office.
With his team Ladislav Pavlů provides legal services to significant business companies namely in the area of spa and hotel services (e.g. company BRISTOL Karlovy Vary), as well as companies engaged in heavy engineering industry (small hydro power plants production and development), graphic-arts industry (printing of self-adhesive labels), food industry, wholesale, advertising, real-estate, sale and service of Volkswagen cars. Among others he also concentrates on acquisitions of Czech and Slovak companies by Czech and foreign investors.
He represented significant Czech companies such as Česká spořitelna, Státní pedagogické nakladelství and others and also participated in loyalty system projects for Julius Meinl, ÖMV, Česká spořitelna, etc. Furthermore Ladislav Pavlů has extensive experience in acquisitions of movable and immovable property, commercial contracts, commercial litigation both the state and arbitration courts and participated successfully in various due diligence projects of Czech and Slovak companies especially for foreign investors.
From the beginning of his legal practice he concentrates also on corporate law, founding, changes and dissolution of business companies, transformation, mergers, etc.
