Betty enjoys life and if you ask her how she's doing, her answer will always be, "I'm smooth!"

Cheryl Adams

Dr. Beth Cape

Job Titles:
  • Education and Mission Program Development Director
Dr. Cape began on September 1st, 2022 working with the Mission and Discipleship Committees to plan and develop Faith's programs for discipleship and mission involvement for all of us. Dr. Cape earned a Masters and Doctorate of Education Ministries from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She earned her Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Cape has taught public school, directed preschools and children's ministries, served as youth minister and served as a missionary Journeyman to Japan, as well as serving as a church musician in several churches! She is also an accomplished artist. You can see her art in Words for a Woman's Heart, (two books!) filled with beautifully drawn illustrations to scripture passages. Emma Roberson

Patty has been on the staff of Faith since 1989, serving in a variety of roles that help our congregation stay connected and going. Patty enjoys helping people serve God in the best way they can.

Rev. Burt McGlawn

Job Titles:
  • Interim Pastor / Interim Pastor
Interim Pastor, Rev. Burt McGlawn. He has served churches in Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky and has had extensive training and experience working with churches in transition. He currently lives in Louisville, KY with his wife, Raynell, who works in IT; they have five children. The youngest two are still at home in their final years of high school. The McGlawns also have three grandchildren, with another arriving in the spring. He has extensive family roots in Alabama.

Sally Priester

Sally is a member of the Faith community who brings her many musician talents and experience to our Sunday morning worship services, both as a vocalist, and as our Handbell Choir Director. Sally enjoys singing a wide variety of music genres and is a member of the Huntsville Chorale and Theater.

Stephen Sivley

We Welcome Stephen Sivley as our new Music Director. Stephen Sivley started accompanying choirs at the age of 14 when he became organist and children's choir accompanist at his church. He knew then that he wanted to be a collaborative musician and went on to study church music at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he studied piano with Dr. Melody Ng. He currently works as staff pianist and choral teaching assistant at Austin High School in Decatur, AL. He regularly collaborates with singers, choirs, and other arts organizations in the area. From 2017-2019 he served as collaborative pianist for Huntsville Summer Choir, and in 2020 he served as pianist for Opera Huntsville's production of Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte. From 2019-2021 he served as organist and middle school choir director at Asbury UMC.
