Hugh Rawling

Hugh's interest in self-employment evolved while attending Huron College at the University of Western Ontario. In addition to his full-time educational pursuits, Hugh owned and operated his own business: Rawling Landscape and Maintenance Service. This enterprise paid for his university tuition and allowed him to purchase a house, at age 19, where he lived and rented rooms to other students. In 1979, Hugh joined London Life as a financial security advisor. In July 1998, he established his own business; Rawling Financial Inc. Hugh's personal entrepreneurial ventures have given him a first-hand understanding of his business-owner customers' needs. Hugh holds the three major financial planning designations: Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is past president (1990) of the London branch of Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (CAIFA), now know as ADVOCIS. He is married with two daughters

Mike F. Albert

Mike provides support to financial advisors who work with business owners, professionals and affluent clients. He is available for casework to help uncover life insurance opportunities and can combine people skills and product design expertise into the financial planning process to create custom solutions for clients. Mike has over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry. After graduating from university, he spent over two years as a licensed insurance advisor with a major insurance carrier. Mike has been in the role of a wholesaler for over 13 years. Mike joined the Canada Life Assurance Company in 2001, where he held several positions within Individual Insurance. In 2005, Mike became the leader of the Canada Life Products and Sales Strategies team. His team was responsible for the individual life insurance product and sales strategies ideation, development and distribution. His experience is a great asset in helping advisors put forward the appropriate insurance solutions for their clients. Mike is life and accident sickness licensed and a member of Advocis. He believes in improving oneself through education. He has completed the following Advocis courses; Financial Planning Fundamentals, Contemporary Practices in Financial Planning, Comprehensive Practice in Risk/Retirement Planning and Wealth Management and Estate Planning. Mike holds the Canadian Securities (CSC), Conduct Practice Handbook (CPH) certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute. He holds the Certified Health Specialist (CHS), Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA), Elder Planning Counselor (EPC) designations. He is working on his Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. Mike, his wife Daniela and three children Matthew, Carmine, and Melina live in London, Ontario.

Phil Hunt

Phil has been working in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years with roles as a financial advisor, stock broker and discretionary fund manager. For the last 10 years Phil has been working as a wealth sales manager helping advisors give strong advice on investments to their clients. Phil started working for Canada Life in the United Kingdom in 2015 and, in 2017, he moved to Canada and continued working for Canada Life. Phil is passionate about helping advisors and clients navigate the changes we are seeing in our industry currently using his experience with these changes in the UK a few years ago. Phil lives in Burlington with his wife Amy and twin children James and Meredith. Phil enjoys scuba diving and is a long-suffering Dallas Cowboys fan

Steve Hebden

Steve's passion for helping others has been a life-long priority. He has been active in many community initiatives most notably as a past board member of Mission Services of London and Community Habitat of London as well as a past co-chair of the Engaging Journey's program, where he developed future board members for the London community. Steve matches his passion for helping others with a strong educational background from Western University, where he received an Honours Specialization in Economics and a minor in Social Justice and Peace Studies. He began his financial services career with London Life in 2009 and is now partnered with Rawling Financial Inc. to continue to grow his business and enhance his clients' experiences. He is married to Danielle and they are proud parents of their two children, Gwen and Zachary.
