Ben is the interim Managing Director of the Investment Manager. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer and has been an employee of RAW Capital Partners since 2021. Ben was responsible for the oversight of the company's financial controls, fund accounting, information technology and financial reporting. Now as interim Managing Director he has taken over Tim's responsibilities on an interim basis while he is absent. He is a member of the Board, the Investment Committee, the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Credit Committee. Ben is a Guernsey resident.
Ben is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, and he has experience in the insurance and investment management industry. He trained at Deloitte in the UK having previously worked in London for the Metropolitan Police Service and has subsequently worked at AON Insurance Managers before joining RAW Capital Partners in 2021.
Ben holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Exeter and is a Member of ICAEW and the CIOT.

David has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and during his 25 years in Guernsey has held senior positions with the offshore divisions of two FTSE-listed banks. In addition, he has held non-executive directorships with a Guernsey-regulated and licensed bank, investment management company, Investec's captive insurance company, and an investment fund.
David has been the non-executive Chairman of RAW Capital Partners Limited since 2016 and is a member of the Investment Committee and the Credit Committee.
David is also a consultant to a Jersey licensed and regulated fiduciary company focusing on strategy and acquisitions and the non-executive director of a Guernsey regulated and licensed investment management company, the UK Group of which has in excess of £6Billion under management and administration.
David achieved the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction in 2002 (Dip.IoD)
Diana recently joined us in February 2023 as a Mortgage Executive and is part of our Loan Execution Team.
Diana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Plymouth College of Art, and ran two photography studios as well as her own dog walking company prior to joining RAW.
Diana joined us shortly after returning to Guernsey craving a career change. In her spare time you can certainly find Diana at the beach in the water, training her dog, and spending time with her family.
Heather first joined RAW Capital Partners in 2021 under our Internship Programme and has since become a full-time member of the team.
Heather recently completed her A-levels in Business Studies, Psychology and Sociology at the Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys meeting with friends, going for walks, and in the future, she wants to travel.
Hugo initially joined us on our internship programme, and has since joined us full-time after completing his A-levels in July 2022.
Hugo holds A-levels, in Business Studies, Economics and Design and Technology.
In his spare time, Hugo is a Muay Thai fighter, and has competed in the annual 'The Lock-In'. He also enjoys running "anywhere and everywhere" and religiously cooking chilli.
James joined us full-time in September 2023 after a 3 month internship in 2022. He is the new Business Development Executive, and is responsible for building and maintaining investor relationships, investor reporting and analysing market research data.
James studied BSc Economics and Finance at the University of Exeter, where he achieved a 1st class honours and a school commendation. Furthermore, he is currently planning to continue his studies in the investment area.
In his spare time, James enjoys rugby, the outdoors, 5 aside football, and BBQ's (Braai's)!
James leads the operational management of the business utilising 10 years' experience in the finance industry. He is a member of the Board, the Investment Committee and the Credit Committee.
Prior to joining RAW Capital Partners in 2019, James was a manager at Guernsey Finance - the promotional agency for the island's financial services sector - where he contributed to the development and implementation of jurisdictional strategy for financial services. Earlier in his career, James worked for a fund administration and trust service provider.
James holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bath and a post-graduate certificate in Private Client Investment Management and Advice from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI), for which he submitted one of the best 12 papers worldwide.
James is a Chartered Member of the CISI and a member of the Chartered Management Institute. James enjoys reading, cooking, and travel in his spare time.
Josh is responsible for analysis and risk management, helping ensure RAW Capital maintains delivery of consistent returns for investors. Josh works closely with our professional counterparties to ensure maintenance of good quality fund assets and high-quality service delivery. He is a member of the Credit Committee and acts as secretary to the Investment Committee.
Josh has experience in mortgage lending, private equity investing and currency hedging. He has developed expertise in database management and process improvement.
Prior to joining RAW Capital Partners in 2016, Josh completed A-levels in Economics, Geography, Biology and Environmental Studies achieving three at grade A.
In his spare time, Josh is a Director and the Recorder of the Guernsey Indoor Bowling Association and a Volunteer Event first aider for St John Ambulance.
Josh has recently joined the New Business team as a Mortgage Executive, and is busy settling into life at RAW as well as building relationships with both new, and existing clients in our network.
With a background in the aviation industry, Josh joined us looking for a change of pace and chance to explore a new sector.

Julie joined RAW Capital Partners in 2021 as an Executive Assistant and provides support to the Client Servicing Team.
Before taking time out to raise a family, Julie worked at Barclays for seventeen years during which time, she covered a variety of roles including taking security for Personal and Corporate lending.
In her spare time Julie enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with the family.

Kirsty joined RAW Capital Partners in 2020 as an Executive Assistant and provides support to the mortgage origination team.
Prior to joining RAW, Kirsty held various roles at NatWest, including personal mortgage adviser. Kirsty holds the Award in Financial Administration from the Chartered Insurance Institute and has received her CeMAP qualification.
Kirsty enjoys long-distance running when she's not running around after her 4-year-old daughter.
Lee, our Client Service Manager, became an integral part of our team in December 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained over the past decade in various countries and esteemed organisations. Before joining us, Lee's professional journey included delivering comprehensive client services for a leading hospitality investor in South East Asia. His commitment to excellence extended to providing elevated services to his client base in Hong Kong. Since joining our team, Lee has been dedicated to mastering our processes and contributing to our collective success.

Marisa joined RAW Capital Partners in 2020 as an Executive Assistant & Company Secretary and provides support to the mortgage execution team. Marisa is now an Executive Director of RAW Capital Partners.
Before taking time out to raise a family, Marisa worked as a commercial property solicitor in London during which time she acted for and advised clients on acquisition and disposal of commercial, industrial and residential property.
Marisa is a member of the board of the Investment Manager and the Credit Committee

As the head of distribution here at RAW, Roddy has over 15 years' experience in the finance industry. Before joining us, Roddy spent time at Menai Financial, developing distribution strategy for EMEA and was Head of Business Development at EG Capital Advisors. Prior to that, Roddy was Vice President of Investment Solutions at Winton Group, and Head of Sales, Marketing and Investor Relations at Krom River Trading where he was based in Zug, Switzerland.
Roddy holds an MA (Hons) in Psychology and Business Studies from the University of Edinburgh. In addition to holding FINRA and SII qualifications, he is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
Outside of work, Roddy enjoys endurance training, having completed several Ironman competitions, as well as rugby, skiing and travelling.
Sophie joined RAW Capital Partners in April 2021 as a fund executive, predominantly to support the RAW finance team.
Prior to taking time to raise a family, Sophie has more than 15 years' experience in the investment management industry primarily in the hedge fund sector. Sophie also spent 5 years working for an institutional pension fund manager in Vancouver.
In her spare time Sophie enjoys running, swimming, and spending time on the beach with her family.
Tim has more than 30 years' experience in fund management, banking and financial services including senior roles at a FTSE listed Bank and more than 10 years in the management and administration of offshore funds. He holds a BSc (Hons), a Diploma in Marketing and the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction and is a member of the IoD. He has significant experience in business leadership, operational and systems transformation, private equity, property and mortgage lending markets.
Tim spent 17 years at Barclays, with 5 years' as Managing Director of Barclays Wealth and Investment Management's International banking business developing its multi-jurisdictional footprint and transforming its business operations. He began his career at Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society and subsequently, as Head of Mortgages, led Barclays thrust into the UK residential lending market before leading major transformation in the mainstream banking and payments business.
Tim has also been a director of a multi-jurisdictional fiduciary, fund administration and pensions business; a director of a number of private equity investment structures; and a director of property related businesses including two property funds, one listed on AIM, and a significant London redevelopment including commercial, retail and high end residential apartments.
Tim is an active personal investor and participant in early stage growth companies, particularly in the FinTech space. He leads the RAW Capital Partners business and is a member of the Board, Investment Committee, Risk and Compliance Committee and Credit Committee.
Tim has been a Guernsey resident for over 12 years and in his spare time enjoys sailing, skiing and cycling. He also enjoys cooking and, although he is no "British Bakeoff" star, makes a mean curry! He dedicates much of his spare time to training and coaching young sailors in Guernsey.
Tom Joined us in July of 2023 as the new Sales Manager, and is responsible for managing the New Business Team.
Tom comes from a sales background in software and is now working to ensure our New Business team can best understand and provide the best solutions to our wide client base.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys golf, football, F1, and exploring what Guernsey has to offer as a newcomer to the island!
Travis has an extensive background in sales and experience in business management. His main role is to establish and maintain relationships with our clients and key counterparties.
He loves to have a chat and is always happy to have a call and catch up at any point, business or personal Travis is there at the end of the phone.
In his spare time, as a qualified Thai chef, Travis likes to cook for his family and also immerse himself in Japanese culture. He is also a keen fan of basketball (OKC), softball and dodgeball. Whilst he's not the finest football player, he likes to hear from passionate fans.
