As one of Florida's premier pianists, John Ryan has been featured at the finest venues and private clubs along the East Coast for over 35 years. He performs regularly as a solo piano artist and also performs concerts and events with his duos, trios, and bands... An exceptional pianist & singer with a rare diversity of talent, John Ryan performs music from a broad selection of genres and eras, with a performance song list in the many thousands, including an extensive repertoire of his own original compositions... A gifted pianist from early childhood, John Ryan displayed a great propensity for improvisation and an innate ability to play nearly any song that he had ever heard. His formative years were spent performing piano and keyboards with jazz, blues, rock, and pop bands. He later combined his studies of music theory and composition with his passion for the acoustic piano and has enjoyed a 35+ year career as an in-demand solo pianist and composer.
