I was trained as a psychotherapist, in both social work and psychology when I was in school. In 1977 I discovered the newly emerging field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) as well as a number of other treatment models. Later I became one of the early Certified Trainers by the Society of NLP. Early on I carved out specialties in the areas of education, training, and writing, in addition to psychotherapy applications, using the latest technology from this rapidly advancing field. I've worked as a researcher, trainer, coach and consultant to professionals, hospitals, schools, clinics, businesses, government agencies and professional athletes... I've written five books and co-authored another, as well as many papers & articles on NLP. I'm generally considered to be an expert in the application of NLP to education and training, psychotherapy and communication skills.
