She has received some of the media's most prestigious journalism awards including the Peabody Award, New York Festival Gold Award, Centennial Governor's Award, Corporation for Public Broadcasting Award, as well as multiple Emmy Award nominations in broadcast television, public broadcasting and cable TV.

Marketing Strategist, Rainmaker, Yenta and Coach, Dave Sharp has more than 25 years experience leading marketing initiatives with some of the world's best marketers-including Campbell Soup, Ford, Paccar, Airborne Express, Domino's Pizza, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and US Bank, among others.
Sharp's background includes work on the client-side with Caterpillar and Armstrong; as well as Senior Management positions in major national advertising agencies (Sharp Hartwig, Cf2GS, Bozell Worldwide and FCB); and, executive marketing positions with media companies including Aptimus and BELO Northwest.

Tara's experience includes public relations/media relations support, internal/ external communications writing, special events planning, photography, merchandising and promotions coordination.

Tara served as Director of CORE (Committee Organizing Rape Education) at the University of Washington. Other not-for-profit organization experience includes her work with the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, PONCHO and Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center. She also worked with Seattle advertising agency, Williams Helde Marketing Communications where she helped create the premier issue of Just Cause magazine.
Tara earned her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the University of Washington.
