Dr. Alexis Morales

Dr. Morales earned her bachelor's degree in biology at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She then went on to earn a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Purdue University in Indiana. Dr. Morales is excited to return home and begin her career as an associate veterinarian at Seiler Animal Hospital. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Morales is proud to help keep your furry companions happy and healthy! In her free time, Dr. Morales enjoys kayaking, taking long walks with her labrador, Capri, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Amanda Werner

Born in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Amanda Werner has worked in the veterinary field since 2002. Dr. Werner started as a volunteer in an animal shelter and has also worked as a veterinary assistant at various small animal practices prior to vet school. After receiving a bachelor's in biology from Florida Atlantic University, she continued on to receive her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Tennessee. Since graduating with her DVM, Dr. Amanda Werner joined Seiler Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2020. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. In her spare time, Dr. Werner enjoys traveling, yoga, and reading. She is looking forward to trying new things and would love to learn how to ski or snowboard.

Dr. Charles Highley

Born and raised in South Florida, Dr. Charles Highley graduated from Spanish River High School in Boca Raton and then went on to attend Auburn University where he was awarded a bachelor's degree of science in microbial, cellular, and molecular biology. Dr. Highley returned home and began working as a veterinary technician here at Seiler Animal Hospital while he was completing a Master's degree in the business of biotechnology from Florida Atlantic University. He then earned a Doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Florida in the Spring of 2023. In his spare time, Dr. Highley enjoys practicing his golf game, playing tennis, cooking, and running around with his dogs Harper and Starbee. Dr. Highley is thrilled to return to Seiler Animal Hospital and is looking forward to meeting you all.

Dr. Chloe M. Silva

Dr. Chloe Silva was born and raised in Lighthouse Point, Florida. Dr. Silva completed her undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, earning a bachelor's in biological science. She then continued on to earn her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Sydney in Australia. During her time as veterinary student, Dr. Silva previously worked at Seiler Animal Hospital and is excited to have returned! In her spare time, Dr. Silva enjoys traveling, scuba diving and spending time with her German Shepherd named Addie. Dr. Silva is dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate care to her patients and clients. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

Dr. Maureen Thieme

Dr. Maureen Thieme joined the practice as an associate veterinarian in 2018 where she has been able to work alongside her father (and the hospital's owner) Dr. Douglas Thieme. Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Maureen Thieme is an alumna of both St. Anthony Catholic School and Cardinal Gibbons Catholic High School. After graduating, she attended the University of Florida where she received a bachelor's in biology before earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Purdue University in 2017. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and the Broward County Veterinary Medical Association. In her spare time, Dr. Maureen Thieme enjoys practicing yoga and taking dance classes.

Dr. Sierra Nelson

Dr. Sierra Nelson was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she attended Pine Crest School from the age of 4 until high school graduation. Dr. Nelson then went on to become a Florida Gator at the University of Florida, graduating with a bachelor's in Animal Science and an Innovation Business minor in 2017. She then made a move to Knoxville, TN where she graduated with her DVM from the University of Tennessee in 2022.

Marian Swartz

Marian began her career in veterinary medicine in 1992, and has spent the last twelve years working as a practice manager. As a member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association and a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, Marian has achieved the highest credential for practice management professionals. In addition to her career, Marian has volunteered with several organizations to rehabilitate, rescue and release wildlife. Her favorite volunteer position was with the Smithsonian Marine Institute in Central America. Marian has rescued and adopted several senior pets with special needs. Originally from Caro, Michigan, a shared love for travel and the ocean brought Marian's family to south Florida.
