Sign Language Interpreting Services (SLIS) is owned and operated by Sherri Roberts. Sherri has been interpreting in the Bryan/College Station for over 20 years... SLIS has been providing interpreting and transcription services around Central Texas for over 19 years! Since 2016, we started offering nationwide remote interpreting services. While we provide services in a wide variety of contexts, our work has mainly focused on post-secondary education... SLIS now employs several interpreters and contracts with another 40-50 services providers, as needed. With an increasing number of Deaf students participating in post-secondary settings, we have expanded our services allowing us to work nationwide! We stay busy, but not too busy to provide our clients with the quality services they need.
